Sale Details

The Omsted Tract thinning sale is for a second and first time thinning operation of planted loblolly pine.  The timber to be removed from the LB-1980 stand has been identified with blue paint (only the blue painted trees are to be harvested).  The LB-1985 and LB-1994 stands are operator select to a residual basal area of approximately 70-80 sq.ft. per acre.  Below is a summary of the volume to be removed from the LB-1980 stand.

KRM will request per ton prices for the following products: Pine pulpwood, Hardwood Pulpwood, Pine Hewwood, and Pine Chip N' Saw. All prices must be received at the office of KRM by 11:00 am on Tuesday June 22, 2010. Seller will require a $5,000 advance deposit on the sale and a performance deposit of $2,000. The termination date of the contract will be June 30, 2011.
