LOCATION & DESCRIPTION: Located in Anson County, NC on the east and west side of NC Hwy. 109 at the intersection of NC Hwy. 109 and SR 1109. See the attached timber sale map and location map for details.
The trees that are to be removed as part of the thinning operation have been identified with orange paint.
PAYMENT CONSIDERATION: Sellers will require a $20,000.00 advance deposit made payable to Kiker Resource Mgt. Escrow Account. Once the harvest operation begins, Buyer will supply Kiker Resource Management, LLC weekly statements along with copies of weight tickets. The Buyer will deduct each week’s settlement from the advance deposit until the advance deposit has been depleted. After the advance deposit has been depleted, Buyer will submit weekly checks made payable to Kiker Resource Mgt. Escrow Account along with the settlement and weight tickets for each week’s harvest.
PERFORMANCE DEPOSIT: BUYER will be required to submit a performance deposit in the amount of $2,000.00 to be held in escrow by Kiker Resource Management, LLC until the completion of the harvest to ensure compliance with the Terms and Conditions of the contract for this sale.
Length of Contract: BUYER will be given until December 31, 2007 to harvest the forest products included in this sale.
Prices: Kiker Resource Management, LLC is requesting per ton prices for the following products.
· Pine pulpwood
· Pine hewwood/canterwood
· Pine CNS/Sawtimber
· Hardwood pulpwood/palletwood
· Hardwood Sawtimber (sweetgum)
