Upland areas (LB-1972 ul) residual BA 25 sq.ft./acre
Bottomland areas (LB-1972 bl) residual BA 35 sq.ft./acre
LANDOWNER: Progress Energy Carolina’s, Inc.
LOCATION & DESCRIPTION: Located in Richmond County, NC on the west side of SR 1141. See the attached timber sale map and location map for details.
Upland areas are to be thinned to a residual basal area of 25 sq.ft. per acre, and bottomland areas are to be thinned to a residual basal area of 35 sq.ft. per acre. Buyer will be required to leave a 50 ft. no harvest buffer adjacent to the beaver pond.
PAYMENT CONSIDERATION: Sellers will require a $10,000.00 advance deposit.
PERFORMANCE DEPOSIT: BUYER will be required to submit a performance deposit in the amount of $3,000.00 to be held until the completion of the harvest to ensure compliance with the Terms and Conditions of the contract for this sale.
Access: Access to the property will be as shown on the attached timber sale map.
Length of Contract: BUYER will be given until December 31, 2007 to harvest the forest products included in this sale.
Prices: Kiker Resource Management, LLC is requesting per ton prices for the following products.
· Pine pulpwood
· Hardwood pulpwood
· Pine hewwood/canterwood
· Pine CNS/Sawtimber
