Sale Details

The Gatewood Tract thinning sale is for a first time thinning operation of planted pines established in 1989.  The thinning operation should be performed to a residual basal area of approximately 70-80 sq.ft. per acre.

KRM will request prices for the following products:  Pine pulpwood, Pine Hewwood/Canterwood, Pine Chip N' Saw, and Hardwood pulpwood.    All prices must be received at the office of KRM by 11:00 am on Wednesday May 2, 2007.  Seller will require a $3,000 advance deposit on the sale and a performance deposit of $2,000.  The termination date of the contract will be December 31, 2007.
