Sale Details

The Dermid Tract thinning sale is for a first time thinning operation of planted pines established in 1991.  The thinning operation should be performed to a residual basal area of approximately 80 sq.ft. per acre.  Portion of this tract willl be clearcut (see the timber sale map).

KRM will request prices for the following products:  Pine pulpwood, Hardwood pulpwood, Pine Hewwood/Canterwood, Pine Chip N' Saw, and Hardwood Sawtimber.    All prices must be received at the office of KRM by 11:00 am on Thursday April 26, 2007.  Seller will require a $2000 advance deposit on the sale and a $2,000 performance deposit.  The termination date of the contract will be December 31, 2007.
