Spencer Farm Hunting Lease

TYPE OF LEASE:                    3 Year Hunting and Fishing Lease
 
The lease will be for the right to hunt and fish subject to the stipulations and conditions hereafter set forth in the attached lease and only at such times as hunting and fishing are permitted by the laws and regulations of the United States and the State of South Carolina in force and effect.

LOCATION & DESCRIPTION: Located in Chesterfield County, SC on the south side of SC Hwy 9 between the towns of Chesterfield, SC and Cheraw, SC and is adjacent to Thompson Creek. The Spencer Farm encompasses approximately 633.44 acres and offers prime hunting for whitetail deer, wild hogs, waterfowl, turkey, and quail. There are a variety of wildlife habitats including upland stands of longleaf and loblolly pine, upland and bottomland hardwood, beaver swamps (108.49 acres), and two fish ponds (11.61 acres). 
 
LENGTH OF LEASE: The contract will be for a three (3) year lease, ending June 30, 2010. The Lessee will be given the option to renew the lease following the termination date if the Lessor is satisfied that the Lessee is abiding by the terms and conditions of the lease.
 
LEASE PAYMENT:   Payment for each year’s forthcoming lease period will be due on or before June 30th
 
ACCESS: Potential Lessees will be allowed to access the property prior to submitting a bid. Keys to the gate are available for pick up at the office of Kiker Resource Management, LLC, 641 Hwy. 742 South, Wadesboro, NC28170.
 
BIDS: Bids on a per acre basis (for the entire tract of 633.44 acres) for the first year will be received at the office of Kiker Resource Management, LLC onThursday June 28, 2007 by 11:00 a.m. Bids must be submitted in writing on the attached bid sheet. Bids may be submitted by fax, email (tray@kikerforestry.com), or hand-delivery. Please confirm by phone prior to the bid deadline that your bid has been received. The landowners have established a minimum bid of $10.00/acre; only bids greater than or equal to this amount will be accepted. The landowners reserve the right to accept or reject any and all bids received.
